Speech and language activities to access while at home with your child
On this website you can easily retrieve speech/language activity ideas. I have posted activities you can easily do with basic supplies or even outside; while screen-access is a wonderful, I know there is an unprecedented amount of it in our lives right now!
If time allows, please consider completing 2 activities from the Daily Speech Sound Challenge or
Daily Language Challenges menus each week. If you would like, you can send me a picture of your child completing one of the tasks or a finished product.
I am available via email or phone on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I would also be happy to set up phone calls or Zoom calls. I am here to support your child and family during this time.

Resources from Ms. Bianchini / Occupational Therapy:
- Communication routines within your home are the most impactful in your child's language development. If you are interested in reading more about language enrichment for your child's age range, visit this parent resource from the ASHA website (American Speech and Hearing Association).
-Inviting your child to problem-solve alongside you during daily tasks is a powerful teaching tool. This is one facet of what we call "executive function" skills. Harvard's Center on the Developing Child has published a helpful guide on how to foster development of these skills from the toddler years through adolesence Executive Functions - Harvard's Center on the Developing Child
