Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kopplin

I have enjoyed teaching preschool at Eastford Elementary School since 2007.  I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Special Education from the College of Saint Rose and my Master's degree in Special Education from Saint Joseph College.  My husband, two boys, and I enjoy spending time together outside hiking, going for bike rides, and lots of soccer!

I look forward to getting to know your child and family better as the year progresses.  I hope that together we can help your children continue to grow by encouraging them to explore their world and learn through experiencing a variety of play schemes.  Our time in class will include participating in circle times for learning about days of the week, colors, shapes, the alphabet, and much more.  We will also create projects using paint, glue, and markers/crayons, along with sand and water.  We will spend time reading stories, and learning through play with kitchen materials, cars, dress-up, and blocks.  Some of our activities can get messy, so please remember to dress your child in preschool-friendly clothes.
