We started our week virtually, talking about apples through story time at our whole class Zoom meeting and learning a new fingerplay “The Apple Tree”. At school, we explored the different parts of an apple, including the stem, flesh, skin, and core. We even played with apple pie playdough, painted with apples, and tasted different kinds of apples.
If you are interested in your preschooler joining a small group Zoom meeting on Mondays after our whole class time, please let me know!
On Thursday, Dr. Boucher visited and talked about healthy choices. Together, we practiced handwashing – singing the ABC’s and talked about brushing our teeth twice a day.
