Important Information and Links

It is with great pleasure that I begin my time here in Eastford as Director of Pupil Services. I have worked closely with the former director, Mary Jo Chretien, and staff this summer to ensure a smooth transition for all families and students. My background includes 16 years of teaching special education, 16 years as a building administrator, and 7 years working at the post secondary level teaching teachers. My role here at Eastford includes oversight of special education programs for students age 3 through 21.  As Director of Pupil Services, I will attend Planning and Placement Team meetings for all students who do not EES as well as some of those who do attend ESS.

As of July 1, 2022,  the State of Connecticut implemented a new data /recording system, called CT-SEDS, for students receiving special education / 504 support services. As a result, the paperwork will look different, and we will work with you to explain such changes.  Included here are links with useful information for families.
